Missions

Mid-Cities Missions exist to make God known throughout the world.

We operate out of the Acts 1:8 principle of being God's witnesses in Jerusalem (Local Missions), Judea and Samaria (National Missions), and to the ends of the earth (International Missions).

We do this primarily through church planting, partnering with organizations, and short-term mission trips. Our hope is that through this website, you will be able to see how God is using Mid-Cities to help advance His kingdom on the earth.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

2018 Mission Trips Are Here!

Thomazeau, Haiti with LiveBeyond

  • November 10-16
  • Cost $2,200

This mission will be for medical professionals and ANYONE who has a heart for Haiti. Our team will partner with LiveBeyond for a medical focused mission to serve the community of Thomazeau, Haiti. LiveBeyond is a ministry that is equipping Haitians to reach and care for each other through spiritual guidance, medical care including a fully staffed medical clinic and Maternal Health clinic for mothers, education, job education/training, care for special needs children's and families, just to name a few! This mission will be medical focused and we are seeking medical professionals from every area to join us as we serve the precious people of Thomazeau. For an idea about how the day will look: begin with early morning devotional, breakfast and then join the LiveBeyond Haitian staff for their daily church service. Then begin where you are needed most in the medical clinic or with the KePouTimon children's program. In the afternoon, everyone will get ready to go into the community to meet the children and families that are a part of LiveBeyond. You will be able to see where they live and pray specifically for families and communities.

Is there a specific medical professional needed? LiveBeyond is always in need of optometrists, dentists, physical therapists, nurses, and doctors! However, if the Lord is calling you to Haiti don't be intimidated if you are not a medical professional! There is a place for you assisting with gathering information from the patients(weight, height, etc.) and an opportunity to serve with the Children's program, KePouTimon.

Physical requirements: The climate in Haiti is hot and humid. Each day will require you to possibly walk for 1 to 2 miles over very rough terrain to visit the community.
